Terms of Service

Farooq Music
Last updated: 4 July 2026

About the music — full transparency: All tracks on Farooq Music are original works created by Mohammad Farooq with the help of AI music tools. Every song is made with care — the ideas, lyrics direction and creative choices are his, and AI is used as an instrument in the production process. The music is streamed from the artist's own catalogue on SoundCloud and distributed to stores and streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and others) through DistroKid. We believe listeners deserve to know exactly how their music is made.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the farooqmusic.com website and the Farooq Music mobile apps (iOS and Android) — together, "the service" — operated by Mohammad Farooq ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Farooq Music lets you stream original Urdu music, and — when signed in — create playlists, personalise your profile, and download songs for offline listening. The service is currently provided free of charge. Music streaming works without an account; an account (email, Google or Apple sign-in) is only needed for playlists, profile and offline downloads.

3. Accounts

4. Personal use — what you may and may not do

The music and the service are for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You agree not to:

5. Ownership

All tracks, artwork, the Farooq Music name and logo, and the design and code of the website and apps belong to Mohammad Farooq. Creating a playlist does not give you ownership of the recordings in it. You are welcome to share links to songs and pages on social media — sharing is caring, as long as the music itself stays on the service and official platforms.

6. Third-party platforms and services

Streams are served from the artist's catalogue on SoundCloud, and official releases reach Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and other stores through DistroKid. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. Sign-in with Google and Apple, and our backend provider Supabase, operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change, suspend or remove features, songs or the whole catalogue at any time, and we do not guarantee the service will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted. If we ever introduce paid features in the future, they will be clearly announced before anything changes for you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Farooq Music and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. Your only remedy if you are unhappy with the service is to stop using it.

9. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, without regard to conflict of law principles.
